Pretenţia cu ifos metafizic de a se abstrage de la prezent este cel puţin nerealistă, întrucât practica icoanei este în continuă intersecţie cu celelalte practici ale vieţii atât de tributare lui afară.

The metaphysical requirement of isolation from the present is at least unrealistic due to the constant intersection of this practice with other day-to-day practices.
